Hicham HELAL born on November 4, 1989, in Beni-Ourtilane, Algeria. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student in Sensor Laboratory at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Brescia, Italy. His research interests lie in the field of electronics, sensors, and renewable energy. He earned his first Ph.D. on “Integrated Nanostructures in Electronic and Optoelectronic Devices” from the same university (2016-2021). He served as a temporary assistant professor at the University of Sidi Bel Abbes, Algeria, teaching subjects such as Fundamental Electronics, Technology and Fabrication of Integrated Circuits, Logic of Combinational and Sequential Circuits, and Computer Programming. He obtained his Master's degree in Components and Electronic Systems for Energy, University of Sidi Bel Abbes, Djilali Liabes, Algeria (2014-2016). Throughout his academic journey, he gained valuable practical experience through various internships on Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Atomic force microscopy (AFM), Photoluminescence PL, and Electrical characterizations. Also, he possesses proficiency in various software and programming languages, including Ansys Fluent, Silvaco-Atlas, PC1D, Scaps, Afors Het, Pascal, Python, Matlab.
